Happy Mail! Kawaii Giveaway!

I haven't been able to photograph all the happy mail I've received yet, so if you don't see your mail here, it will be in my next happy mail post.

Thank you Sharon for your wonderful package, I love everything you sent!

Emma sent me these amazing gifts. We don't know each other very well yet, but she managed to choose the perfect things for me. I'm so happy with this package!

On this photo you can see some prizes that I won. They look so cheerful and festive, I just had to share them.

I've started doing some crafts again and have made these bookmarks. I will send them as happy mail, but I haven't chosen the recipients yet.

This is the box I used for my Ninja Book Swap. I decorated it, so it would look cheerful. I hope my swap partner will like the result.

I'm giving away 2 kawaii #happymail prizes. The winner will receive something personal and cute. I usually give away at least two different prizes. This giveaway is international. I'm sending a tweet or email to the winner. The winner then has to reply within 60 hours. Good luck!

Mail

I've always loved mail. Ever since the big sister of a friend gave me some stationery when I was 9 years old I wanted to write letters. At first I wrote letters to my family. I've corresponded with my grandparents for years. I also had a penpal, a girl who was about the same age. We met when we were both on holiday in Switzerland. Unfortunately we didn't stay in touch, but writing and receiving those letters opened a whole new world for me. Since that moment I've always had penpals. Even though life gets in the way sometimes I try to stay in touch with the ones who have become dear friends. Over the years I've met quite a few of them in person. I'm really lucky, because now I have a few close friendships with people who don't live in the same city or sometimes not even in the same country. I've met my best friend through penpalling. We've been friends for almost 15 years now, so soon we have something to celebrate.
I initially started my #happymail project to get back into sending mail after I had to take a break for a few months. It's different from penpalling, but because of it I again meet a lot of great people. I'm grateful for that. Today I packed a lot of envelopes and it was such a nice thing to do. There are quite a few ways to send snail mail. Some are just basic and then it's only the content that matters. Others vary in looks and size. There are so many ways to be creative with mail. From sending a nice poem to creating mail art. It's all fun to do and I've tried a lot of things. I still want to broaden my horizons and am planning on sending as much fun and wonderful mail as possible. If it makes someone else's day it makes my day as well.

Thank You for the great Happy Mail! & Giveaway

I received this Happy Mail from Paris and Wendy. It looks so cheerful and I love the colors! They've surprised me with their sweet notes as well, I will treasure them forever!

Gurdeep sent me this amazing #happymail package. I love the bookmark, it's so precious! The owl is super cute, she knows how much I like them and even managed to find me one from my favorite brand Sass & Belle.

I won Simona's bookmark contest and Pat sent me this beautiful watercolor drawing. It's really pretty and I'm feeling so lucky that I won the prize!

The Paw is from Pat and the card is from Holly. I liked the personal cards I received from both of them very much, they put a big smile on my face.

Thank you!

Birthday Presents!

This is the last day of my birthday celebrations. I've taken photos of most birthday presents I received, but haven't been able to photograph everything yet. The last one isn't my own and I also got a tangle teaser hair brush, which I love. Plus there was a notebook with a shiny cover and some chocolate that I couldn't photograph very well. I really like them. I'm sorry for the flash, I'm learning to take better pictures, but that's going to take some time. Thank you Gurdeep, Tanya, Sharon, Sam, Sophie, Sophie, Pia, Agi, Claire, Simona & Ananda for the presents on the photos! Also thank you Katie, Niekie, Rox, Marieke, Margaret and Sheli for the great presents I haven't taken a photo of. Last but not least I want to thank my family and my husband. And there were so many amazing postcards that I will cherish. Thank you Krysten for sending me such a special message, that was amazing.
I'm also really happy that so many people have helped me with my celebrations. That was amazing and I've made some great friends with people I didn't know that well yet before. I'm grateful to everyone who's written a guest post, helped me with giveaways or who has done a special feature with me. If I've forgotten anyone, I love you and it was not intentional.
I also want to thank AJ, because she sent me a really sweet gift that never arrived. I hope it has made someone else's day instead. I think the same thing happened to two other things I've been sent, fingers crossed they will still show up.
I've had an amazing birthday and that has made me unbelievably happy!

#Happymail Update and Giveaway!

1) I sent a huge pile of #happymail to my friends and giveaway winners this weekend. Some of them have already received my envelope, which was quite fast. When I started this project I didn't expect to receive so many positive and warm reactions. I've received a lot of Happy Mail from several of my friend and like to share the photos with you.

 2) Gurd made my day with this wonderful friendship card. I love the cute bear with the flower! She also wrote a sweet message inside which made my day.
Sam sent me these booklets and the button. She also sent me a lovely homemade bookmark. If you want one for yourself, she sells them on Etsy.

3) I love pink and this cat card is really cool! My friend Niekie wrote a poem inside together with a couple of very sweet lines, so I will treasure this forever. She also gave me five envelopes. Until Monday I have #happymail from her every day. Isn't that amazing?!

4) Margaret sent me this cheerful surprise. I love how she wrapped it and inside the bag are some delicious Irish sweets! I can't wait to try the lip balm. I really, really like this!

5) I like owls and pink, so Gurd sent me this great booklet with matching key chain. They are fabulous! Rebecca has sent me such an adorable necklace. I can't wait to wear it!

I want to thank everyone who's sent me mail very much, it's the best surprise there is and I never expected that my Happy Mail project would make me so happy!
Because receiving a surprise in the mail is so much fun, I'm going to give two of my readers the chance again to receive some mail from me.

Sent and Received!

These two lovely items are a gift. I've ordered them from Temptation Gifts and can't wait to receive them. What's better than a mirror that tells you how good you look? And I love the smell of honeysuckle. It's my favorite Cath Kidston product.

This is something I've ordered today in Lisa Angel's webshop. I like gifts like that and this shop has so many cute little things that will make people smile.

I won a giveaway where I could choose the book I wanted to receive. This book was at the top of my wish list and I'm so happy with it!

I took this photo with my iPad as my camera isn't working at the moment. There's quite a pile of mail waiting to be sent tomorrow. My #happymail project is going well and I'm still having so much fun sending the mail.
