Dutch Days Etsy Spotlight & Giveaway: Suze Loves ShinyStuff Creations!

I love ShinyStuffCreations! It's such a cheerful shop filled with beautiful polymer clay jewelry.

The owner, Kirsty, makes fantastic pieces. 

I like the colors and the happy vibe.

I asked Kirsty a couple of questions to find out more about her and her shop:

When and how did your Etsy adventure start?

I started an Etsy shop because I wanted to expand my offline shop in The Netherlands. I got a lot of questions and requests to also deliver abroad. That's why I decided to open an Etsy shop for both national and international buyers. Etsy, being well-known and reliable, sounded like a good option. 

Where does your inspiration come from?

My inspiration comes from everyday life. I am always looking around to find things that I want to recreate in miniature. The items that I can successfully 'reduce' are added to my shop!

How did you learn to make miniatures?

 

I learned to make miniatures by doing it. It started out as a hobby. I really like working with polymer clay and I still learn every day by practicing a lot and every now and then by watching an online tutorial.

What are you really proud of?

Currently I am very proud of my goldfish chain. When I wear it myself I get many compliments. This was a big project with a lot of trial and error, but that makes me extra proud of the final result.

What can we expect from you in the future?

I would like to start working on a new line with animals, possibly combined with the glass bulb bottles.
