  9. I actually prefer the legend of selkies. As a child, I assumed they lived alongside mermaids, like two cultures in the same country.

  19. The original Hans Christian Anderson The little mermaid is my favorite mermaid story. I love that it wasn't a perfect ending love story though she did get to go to heaven.
