  7. i have been sending and receiving letters from Japan because my friend is teaching English there and with had her students send letters in English. I just sent back my 2nd letters to her students! :D

  11. there is nothing nicer than receiving a card or letter through the post...in the age of technology I tend to email mostly but am always mindful to send birthday cards to my mums elderly friends who don't use the net

  17. What I love about sending and receiving snail mail is that it makes the words so much more meaningful. Writing the letter by hand with each stroke of a letter really shows me how much a friend or family member really cares for me and vice versa. I also like to draw little pictures of enciuragement which my snail mail friends also like to do. :)

  20. What I love about sending and receiving snail mail is that it's written from the heart and that you could attach anything to it like a gift. Also when you write and receive snail mail you get exited because you've been waiting for it for a long time.

  30. There's something about recieving something that you can actually hold. Like a letter you know your friend has made the effort to send you, and its not immediate like email so it is a surprise to what day it will come. Sometimes mail can be something a bit scary to look at because it's normally something bad, drs appointments and bills ect. So to get something happy mixed in there as a surprise is awesome:) i love sending it thinking i might be making peoples days just that little bit better.

  33. I have a card design, so always send it gives. It is so that people around the world send out a handwritten letter to my daughter who is nearly five years and this letter write what is family and love. I read these letters received for my daughter when she grows up and deliver to it. è a pity that few people write!

  34. I like it because in a world where everyone sends everyone emails and texts, letter writing is becoming a lost art reserved only for bills and junk mail. I think that's so sad. Especially since receiving a hand written letter is so much more meaningful than an email.

  36. I'd love to receive an actual snail mail every now and then. I would bet it's been 30 years since someone wrote me a letter! I like that letter writing takes effort and has a personal touch that electronic methods don't seem to contain.
