Australia Weekend: Suze Loves Komorebi Handmade! & Giveaway

I love Komorebi Handmade's beautiful necklaces and head chains.

I like the stones Jessica, the owner of this shop, is using. They're really pretty.

Her style is absolutely fantastic.

Jessica's jewelry is suitable for every occasion, from casual to very fancy.

I've asked Jessica a few questions to find out more about her and her shop.

Where did you learn how to make jewellery?

From a very early age I've been tinkering away with beads and gems and friendship bracelets. I fell in love with the art of creating, and I never really stopped. I mostly taught myself everything that I know about jewellery and I am continually learning!

How did your Etsy adventure start?

My adventure with Etsy began with a friendship with a fellow Etsy store holder. I began to buy certain components from her and I sent her pictures of what I was making. She encouraged me to open my own Etsy store and gave me the run down on how it all worked. Since then I have taken part in the Etsy tutorial workshop "Etsy Resolution" and revamped my store into what it is today.

You sell both necklaces and headpieces, how would you describe your style?

Very bohemian. My pieces have a luxe feel, but they are relaxed in a way that you can wear them to the beach or on the red carpet.

Your shop has a special name, why have you chosen it?

Komorebi is a Japanese word used to describe sunlight filtered through the trees. It encapsulates a sense of natural beauty that I want to be found in all of my pieces. I love working with natural gemstones and pearls. When I rotate them through my fingers I feel a connection with the earth, the same way I do when I’m walking barefoot on soil or swimming in the ocean. There is something very powerful about that. Too often we are disconnected from the land and forget to appreciate Mother Nature’s magnificence.

What inspires you?

I draw a lot of inspiration from the beauty in nature, beach culture, and gypsy decadence.

What are your plans for the future?

I am in the process of developing 'Komorebi Bride', which will trade exclusively in top quality Sterling silver and gemstone headpieces for bridal and formal occasions. This project is so close to my heart and I am so close to being ready to share it with the world! Watch this space!

I think it's brilliant that Jessica makes these head pieces as they're exactly what a lot of brides are looking for.

Jessica's bohemian jewelry is fantastic, it's stylish and elegant.

I like that it's perfect for every occasion.

The designs are absolutely stunning.

They're feminine and will make you feel beautiful.

There's also a Komorebi website where you can find more stunning jewelry.

Don't hesitate to contact Jessica if you'd like her to make something for you. She loves custom orders.

Check out this amazing jewelry.

Admire these brilliant pieces.

 Enjoy browsing...
