Australia Week: Suze Loves Amfetrita!

I love Amfetrita, flowers that never fade.

The floral jewelry in this shop is absolutely stunning.

I've interviewed the owner, Yulia, to find out more about her and her shop.

What inspires you?

Creativity without inspiration all the same that a purse without money. Each person has something like that that gives rise to new images, interesting ideas and non-standard decisions in the head. I am inspired by music, love and weather, sometimes silent warm rainy days, sometimes bright, warm, sunny weather...

How did your Etsy adventure start?

On the advice of one acquaintance who very often uses this site and its opportunities.

Where did you learn your craft?

I was born and lived in Russia. In Russia I graduated from school on production and creation of flowers and bouquets from polymer clay. So my creativity started there. I really love my activity and I very happy to create jewelry, scenery and any flower compositions.

What do you like about your country? Or what's your
favourite place in Australia

I love Australia. To live in Australia, was my dream for 7 years. Dreams come true, the main thing is to trust and to go towards this aim without straying off from your way. The favourite place in Australia is my cozy house, among fields and the wood, fine greens, bright flowers, a warm pool, the bewitching silence and singing of tropical birds...

Most of your jewellery is floral, what do you like so much about flowers?

Yes, the majority of my jewelry is jewelry made of flowers. Flowers are a free beauty in nature, they accompany us all of our life. I like to create jewelry from flowers because their surprising beauty is pleasing and uplifting.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans are very global and broad. I won't speak about some of them, but they concern the production of flowers and jewelry. But one of the biggest desire for the future is to work in a Australian school, teaching the creation of flowers and jewelry of polymer clay.
