ReplyDeleteI love the calming effect of the water and waves!
ReplyDeleteI used to live near the Pacific Ocean. My favorite memory of it was when my now husband and I, on our first date, walked along the beach by the Coronado Hotel, with the ocean periodically rushing in to cover our feet. At one point, Keith saw a sand dollar ahead of us and quickly, before the ocean rushed up to wisk it away, ran ahead to get it. He left me to do so. I couldn't run with him because I'm handicapped and can't run. To this day, 26 years later, I tease him about how he left me stranded in the ocean for a sand dollar on our first date..
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that memory is what I like most about the ocean, and I assume ocean can substitute for sea.
