I'm very happy with the books I've read in 2014. This is my third list, but instead of eight I now have ten books on it, because in the last days of the year I've read two amazing books. You can win one or more books from this list worth $17 in total either from The Bookdepository or Amazon. Good luck!
I will contact the winner on twitter or via Facebook. If I don't get a
reply within 60 hours the prize will go to someone else. All of my

I loved a The Book Thief
ReplyDeleteMy biggest surprise was reading a few Shakespeare plays and discovering that they're really not hard to read and very entertaining. I've never been huge on reading the classics before now, so that was fun to discover.
ReplyDeleteOne surprise was finding out the ending to a story that I was sure was going to turn out one way and it ended another way :) This was Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn :)
ReplyDeleteThe Ocean at the End of The Lane, it was the first book by Neil Gaiman I read :)
ReplyDeleteI don't read a lot, so I couldn't answer to your question :)
ReplyDeleteMy biggest surprise was All You Could Ask For by Mike Greenberg. Mike Greenberg is a ESPN sports guy...he hosts a daily sports show and he wrote women's fiction. It was really good! I couldn't believe it!

ReplyDeleteAmazing story!
I honestly abandoned A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin a while ago because 1. The font is sooo small. 2. The vocabulary is quite high to me. but then I was so bored I had nothing to read and boom! The book is actually amazing!

ReplyDeleteRites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley. Amazing debut book. :)
ReplyDeleteI finally read the LUX series from JLA (after jumping on the bandwagon after reading and loving DON'T LOOK BACK), and holy cow was I blown away by how good it was!!! Daemon was as hawt as everyone had said, the writing was stellar and seasoned (the scenes of sexual tension that woman can write - yowsa!), and I just completely fell in love. There aren't ma.y books I read more than once - I mean, there's so much I want to read and not enough time already, without REreading books - but this series will go in the "forever re-read" pile for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteI really loved Chanel Bonfire, a memoir by Wendy Lawless.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
