ReplyDeleteI just received a huge package from one of my penpals: 3 homemade specialty papers, 4 bags of tea, 2 washi tapes, a Xmas postcard, a Xmas card with recipe insert, a letter written in a homemade journal booklet. It was the amount of time I saw that she put into it that made me so happy. It really made my day!

It was an extremely thoughtful package and it was obvious she put so much time and effort into it, which is what made me happy!

ReplyDeleteLong letters from my best friend when I moved countries and we would write long letters to each other. This was pre email and phone calls were expensive long distance. We'd write pages and pages and draw little things too.
