Insou Jewelry is the Etsy Seller of the Week! & Giveaway

My Etsy Seller of the Week is Insou Jewelry. Sousan and Iness are running this shop together. Mother Iness is a polymer clay artist and daughter Sousan is responsible for running the shop. The name Insou is a combination of their names. I fell in love with their beautiful floral designs and I could have selected every item in their store for this post as their jewelry is gorgeous.

I've asked the mother-daughter team a few questions and below you can find their wonderful replies.

Could you tell me a little more about your Etsy shop?

It all started 3 years ago when Iness accidentally discovered polymer clay. She initially made jewelry for herself, which did not go unnoticed. Sousan decided to open a shop on Etsy and turn her mother’s hobby into a business. We have a great cooperation and each of us has separate responsibilities while we have the same point of view.

Are you a full-time artist?

Iness makes her jewelry with patience and love and she devotes all of her free time and energy to the creative process. She experiments with new techniques, finds her own and expands the variety of our jewelry. It takes from 2 to 40 hours to make each piece of jewelry. Everything in the store is 100% handmade and unique.

What kind of materials do you use?

Insou's main focus is flower jewelry. The materials we use are polymer clay, gemstones, Czech beads, metal findings, wire, ribbons and cords.

Where do you find your inspiration?

The rich and diverse nature. Each season presents us with generous gifts and beauty. The fall is the season of the harvest, berries, acorns and leaves. Winter inspires us because of its festive atmosphere. We like blossoming flowers in the spring and summer brings us so many vibrant colors.

Autumn brings us berries and beautifully colored leaves. Because of that Iness has created a pair of gorgeous earrings that she will send to one very lucky winner. The colors of these earrings are stunning! This giveaway is international.

These earrings come with a detailed description, so you know exactly what you're wearing. They are fall earrings featuring hand sculpted blueberries and orange Pyracantha, decorated with green Czech glass leaves and beads. They hang on silver plated hooks.

  8. Spring. After all the snow comes all the new leaves and grass. I loved it when this happened in Indiana. I live in Florida now and hate it.

  9. I love spring the most (fall coming in a close second), because nature wakes up again and everything's in bloom which makes the world so colorful. Add that I don't like the cold or the heat, thus it has to be the season(s) in between which I like best.
