Facts about the writer of Librarian Lavender

1. Here's another picture of me. As you can see I'm standing in front of some my books which are piled up and not on one of my shelves because those are completely full.

2. My name is Suzanne. Lavender is my alias. I've given her the surname Smith, because that's so much easier than mine.

3. I'm from the Netherlands and I'm living in a small coastal town in the Amsterdam area. I'm from the place where most of the tulip fields are. In April it's amazing here.

4. Lavender's age is 28, soon to be 29. I'm a few years older as I'm 33 years old. I've also got a different birthday.

5. Lavender is basically a more extrovert version of myself. She values the same things, but leads a more exciting and outgoing life. I really like to go out and spend time with my friends and family too, but not every day of the week. I love writing these stories and have plenty of ideas for the future.

6. I'm not a librarian, I just write. I've given Lavender that job, because I've always dreamed to work in one. Books are my life and we've definitely got that in common.

7. Lavender has only been seeing Calvin for a few weeks. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we've been together for almost 18 years.

8. I started this blog to get more writing experience in English. I didn't think I would like it so much that I even let Lavender start a book. I've written in Dutch before this, but have always been too scared to do anything with it. This blog has been the perfect way to come out of my shell.

  1. Very interesting! I like your alias name. :) I, too just turned 33.

  2. Thank you very much for the compliment :). I think this is a strange age, I've stopped feeling young somehow this year. But maybe that's just me...

  3. I've never known anyone who created a whole other persona for their blog. How very interesting!
