Goodbye Jason, Stella and Sandy

Eggs Saint Germain Dress

On Sunday there was a goodbye party in my family's barn. Sandy and Jason asked my parents if they could use the space to say farewell to their friends and family, because they're going to travel the world. Unfortunately last minute Stella joined them, she's registered for the army again and that means she could be located abroad at any time. At this moment her deployment is in Afghanistan which has left me a bit worried. Stella likes the thrill of it though and I'm sure she'll be able to manage. I will miss her like crazy. Just like my brother and my sister in law.
The party was a huge success. There were a lot of people and both our sadness and happiness united everybody. I don't know how they know him, but Jim was there too. If he's a family friend I've missed that part. Every time I see him I'm a bit star struck. I should really ask my mother how they all know him and why I don't, at least not officially. We talked for a while and we even danced! He's such a nice guy and he's always giving me writing tips, which I really need in my attempts to write a decent novel.
Stella's left today and Jason and Sandy's flight was right after the party. My parents, Stella and I went to the airport with them before cleaning up the mess. I gave my brother a big hug and told him to behave himself and to send me a ticket first if they would ever spontaneously decide to get married. I hope they will have a lot of fun.
Later I helped Stella packing a few personal belongings. I gave her a small silver heart shaped charm for good luck. I couldn't help but cry a little when I left her apartment. I will miss them all so much!
